Open letter
Dear Jesse Cole,
Branson, Missouri — Summer 2026
You built Banana Ball on a simple idea: baseball should never be boring, and the show belongs to whoever shows up. The Bananas barnstorm because that is the point — no one city gets to own the magic. We get that. We're not asking you to change the model.
We're asking you to look at Branson. Nine million people come here every year looking for exactly what you sell — a show that demands participation, a performance that makes you stand up. They drive from Kansas City, Memphis, Tulsa, and St. Louis because Branson is still the place where the show is the destination. That crowd doesn't need to be built. It's already here.
The Baldknobbers name has carried this town for sixty-five years. It belongs to the bald-knob ridges that ring the lakes and to three generations of families who know how to hoot, holler, and demand a curtain call. It is one of the most loaded, most loved, most marketable names in the Ozarks — and we think it deserves a Banana Ball jersey.
Banana Ball goes where the crowd is. Branson's crowd never left.
We are not asking you to anchor the brand to a zip code. We are asking you to bring the show to a region that has been warming up the audience since Eisenhower was in office. A regular tour stop, a residency, a regional franchise — we are open to whatever shape makes sense for the Banana Ball universe.
Whatever that looks like, we will fill every seat from the first pitch. That is a promise from the Ozarks.
The names below represent real Ozarkers — fans, families, and small business owners who believe the Ozarks and Banana Ball were made for each other. We will be in your corner from day one, whatever day one looks like.
Sincerely,
The Branson Baldknobbers Coalition
